Cheney takes Dems to task over War on Terror

WASHINGTON -- Vice President Dick Cheney took sharp aim on Monday at new Democratic proposals to set a timetable for troop withdrawal from Iraq.


"Equating timetables and benchmarks with handing victory to terrorists, Cheney said, "Time after time, (the terrorists) have predicted that the American people do not have the stomach for a long-term fight."

Amen, Mr. Vice President I for one I'm sick and tired of the Dems working as the propaganda machine for the enemy. Its like the whole party is made up of a bunch of Jane Fonda wanna-bees. What's next photo-ops of Murtha and company wearing suicide belts on sitting in car bombs? The Dems have clearly stated they are the party of Defeat. What this country needs is a Party of Victory! Setting time lines and all that other jazz just gives the enemy the will to hang on longer. I mean really truth be told if they really cared about the troops they should just rally behind the President and demonstrate to the enemy that we are united after a few months of that the war would be over because the enemy would see that it is hopeless to stay in the fight. But for the Dems that would mean actually supporting the President and we can't do that. Because we need to make the President look bad so we can win an election. So much for supporting the troops.

That's what Dems do best!!!

Consider the source and the fact the Leftist MSM has run nothing but doom and gloom since the war started or for that matter since Vietnam.

Well Gee Pelosi the more troops we put in their to secure the country the quicker the war will be over. You would think you would support that but I guess you feel your Bush bashing is more important then all those poor uneducated troops in Iraq as Kerry put it.
